Switching from Out-Smart to Dayporto
Dayporto covers the same daily work and adds the customer portal with customer app, the drawing module, inspection modules per standard and bookkeeping. The switch is small: work orders and installations use the same concepts.
Data migration included with every subscription
Where you are coming from
Out-Smart is cloud software for service and installation companies — work orders, planning and maintenance — and is common in the security industry.
Comparison per theme
| Theme | Dayporto | Check with your current package |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Monthly subscription per user, cancellable monthly, no implementation or licence fees. Data migration included. | What does it cost over three years including licence, implementation, maintenance and updates? And an extra user? |
| Installation and updates | Fully in the browser, nothing to install. Updates appear automatically; what is new is listed in the app. | Does it run on your own server or at a hosting party, and who performs updates and backups? |
| Technician app | Dayporto Pro for iPhone and iPad and the web app for Android: work orders, checklists, photos, signature and log — offline too, syncing as soon as there is coverage again. | Does the app work without coverage (basement, car park) and can the technician collect a signature on site? |
| Customer portal and customer app | Customers see work orders, certificates, invoices and the log per installation in the portal and the Dayporto app, in your branding and on your own domain. | Can your customers retrieve their own certificates and invoices, or does that go through your office? |
| Inspections and standards | Inspection modules and templates for NEN 2654, NEN 2535, REOB, NEN 1010, VRKI and BORG; intervals per installation with automatic work orders. | Are the inspection forms of your trade included, or do you build them yourself in a forms module? |
| Floor plans and drawing | Drawing module with NEN 1414 symbols, PDF/DXF import, laser measuring and LiDAR scan; the floor plan is on the work order and in the portal. | Do you draw in a separate CAD package and attach the drawing to the customer by hand? |
| Accounting and integrations | Moneybird, Exact Online, Xero, QuickBooks, WeFact, Peppol invoices, Mollie payment links and 2BA price import; built-in bookkeeping if you do not want an external package. | Which integrations are standard and which cost extra or are custom work? |
| Your data | Your data stays yours: a full export package (CSV, PDF, attachments) at any time, data processing agreement included, hosting in the EU. | On cancellation, do you get all your data in a usable format, and what does that cost? |
What you bring along
Export each part to Excel or CSV via the export or report function of your package. If that does not work, we use a database copy or a backup.
| From your package | In Dayporto |
|---|---|
| Relations / customers | Customers with address, contacts, registration, VAT and IBAN |
| Objects / installations | Locations and installations per customer, with brand, type, serial number and maintenance interval |
| Maintenance contracts | Contracts with term, frequency and rate — the intervals drive the planning |
| Articles and prices | Article file with cost and sales price, or directly from 2BA / your wholesaler |
| Outstanding invoices | Open items so that reminders and the customer portal are right from day one |
| Certificates and reports (PDF) | As documents with the installation — immediately visible to the customer in the portal |
